Patrick Martin

Mr. Martin, CMA, is the Controller for Global Ordnance LLC, Global Military Products, Inc., and Global Ordnance Trading, Inc. (collectively known as “Global”). He joined Global in 2019 with nineteen previous years of experience in accounting and auditing. As Controller, Mr. Martin applies his education, background, skills, and knowledge to effectively manage the Accounting Department. Among other things, Mr. Martin manages cash flow, banking, regulatory reporting, and financial reporting and provides projections. He also ensures that the necessary people, policies, and procedures are in place to ensure efficient and accurate reporting of costs and revenue streams for the company’s multiple business units.

Mr. Martin studied business and accounting at East Carolina University (ECU), where he obtained both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Accounting. He was part of the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity and a member of the National Honor Society. Mr. Martin is also a Certified Management Accountant.

After graduating from ECU, Mr. Martin moved to Charlottesville, VA, to work for Hantzmon & Wiebel, Certified Public Accountants, as an Accountant and Auditor. While at Hantzmon & Wiebel, he was assigned to audit teams that worked with construction companies and not for profit organizations to prepare their audited or reviewed financial statements. During this time, he was also assigned to work with one of the firm’s largest investment partnerships to track its security investments and assist with preparing its annual tax returns.

Prior to becoming Global’s Controller, Mr. Martin worked for Skycore Aviation for fourteen years. Skycore Aviation, formerly known as Greystone Limited, provided private security personnel, aircraft maintenance personnel, and leased aircraft to customers worldwide. Mr. Martin started as Greystone’s Accountant and, through his hard work, dedication, and attention to detail, became the company’s Controller. His position at Greystone Limited and then Skycore Aviation provided him the opportunity to travel abroad to ascertain the viability of new business ventures and audit existing business units. These trips tied directly into his love of travel.
