Ken Mick

Kenneth (Ken) Mick serves as Chief Operating Officer of Global Ordnance. Ken brings more than three decades of executive leadership experience in the defense industry, including an exceptional 30-year career with General Dynamics Land Systems. Throughout his distinguished career, he has led engineering, product development, systems integration, and operational initiatives supporting some of the world's most advanced defense programs.

Throughout his career, Ken has built and developed high-performing organizations responsible for delivering complex, multi-billion-dollar domestic and international programs, including the M1 Abrams Main Battle Tank and the Saudi Light Armored Vehicle Program. His technical expertise, strategic vision, and commitment to excellence have earned him numerous industry accolades, including General Dynamics Land Systems Engineer of the Year.

Following his retirement from General Dynamics, Ken founded Mick Engineering Excellence LLC, where he served as President and CEO, providing executive consulting and strategic advisory services to leading defense organizations, including Global Ordnance. His partnership with Global Ordnance provided valuable insight into the organization, making his transition into the role of Chief Operating Officer a natural next step.

Reporting to Jeff Brunozzi, President of Global Ordnance Holdings, Ken serves as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team. He supports the company's operational strategy and execution across program management, manufacturing, engineering, quality assurance, and operational excellence. He also helps ensure continued compliance with U.S. Government requirements, international regulations, and the high standards Global Ordnance customers expect.

To leverage Ken’s extensive industry knowledge, reputation, and expertise, Paul Alessio of Ground Combat Systems at GMP, John Dilley of GO Commercial, and Garry Leach of GO UK report directly to him. Ken also supports the continued growth and leadership of the organization’s engineering efforts and systems integration capabilities. Ken works out of the Sarasota office.

Ken holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

As Global Ordnance continues to expand its capabilities and support critical defense missions around the world, Ken's leadership, engineering expertise, and experience developing high-performing teams play an important role in supporting the organization's continued growth and operational success.
